A major step in success is setting realistic goals. When you are first deciding on a goal, the big picture is important— I don’t mind a detour, but I do need to have a general idea of where I want to head. As I get older, I’ve learned to set goals in a different way- instead of getting super specific about how I want a goal to manifest physically, I try to focus on the feeling I want to get from the goal. For instance, I am currently looking for a house. Instead of getting bogged down on all the features or problems of a house, I am trying to focus on how I want to feel about my home. Instead of defining house as a traditional home, I’m trying to be open to all kinds of opportunities to find a true home to grow and develop in. Achieving physical rewards is always nice, but achieving mental and emotional rewards are even better. It would be nice if everyone came to my house and said, “WOW cool house!” But it will be even better to swing quietly in my hammock in my own yard and know that I am safe in my home- whatever it looks like.
Coyote Mint Company reached a new milestone this week with 500 followers on Instagram! The money we make (physical reward) is amazing, and helps us continue to grow as a business and as creators. But the emotional reward of knowing that hundreds of people have supported us, even in social media setting, feels even better. We love sharing our product, and searching the recesses of Pinterest to come up with new ideas and inspiration. We have so many goals for this year, but this was a major one and we are so happy to reach it with your help. This year should bring expanded product lines, a more polished online presence, and hopefully the start of a physical presence in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and craft baskets❤️
Stay tuned for details and updates!
